  • Where did reiki come from?
    Reiki has mentions all the way back to 600 BCE, however modern reiki was discovered in the 1800s in Japan.

    No. Reiki is a spiritual healing practice that is not attached to any religion or belief system. It can be used as a healthy compliment to any lifestyle or religious belief.
  • What is reiki healing?
    Reiki is a spiritual healing practice that can help restore and maintain balanced fuctioning in all of our systems: the body, the mind and the spirit.
  • How do I know if I need reiki?
    There are a number of symptoms that you may experience when your enegy centers are blocked. The 7 energy centers are called chakras and when blocked, each one will present with different symptoms. Most common symptoms are anxiety, depression, hormone imbalance, autoimmune disorders, digestive issues, sleep disruptions, lack of energy, over all feeling of being unbalanced, low sex drive and more.
  • How do I receive reiki healing if we are not in the same room?
    The reiki practitioner acts as a conduit and tunes the healing energy to the person it is being sent to. The healing is sent and flows through the energy current that exisits naturally in the universe. The practitioner can send the healing and the recipient receives it when they are ready and able. Your practitioner will give you detailed instructions about how to receive it, what you may experience and how to care for yourself afterward.
  • Is it possible to have too much reiki?
    Not at all! There is nothing involved in reiki healing besides the healing energies that run through the practitioner and the recipient. There is no exchange of energy. The healer is a conduit for the recipient.
